Someone very dear to me has roused a new love for the word swear, or swears. 'Tommy said a swear.' That kind of context. Brilliant.
Busy. Busy. Busy. Busy.
I've had thousands of interviews for Universities and consequently have been traveling all over the country for the last few months, I've had little time to take photos.
Just know I'm thinking of you.
P.s. If you are in Melbourne and have some free time, check out the Ricky Swallow exhibition at the NGV, if you haven't already. It's quite a treat. Maybe take your mums along, she'd like that, you two don't get to see each other much these days.
I hate these photographs with a fiery passion, these are test shots done some time ago. Please be aware the differences in exposure, contrast etc. are intentional, as they are test shots.
Story! We were painting over our kitchen, the initial process of this, involving many hours chipping away all the old crack den paint, resulted in something quite amazing (suspense).
A quick side note: All work was undertaken by my housemate, not me, I barely helped.
Continued... The result was the wall you see behind me in the following photos. I hate them. I love that wall. End.
Two posts in one day. Outrageous I know! There is a reason, this, this photograph needs to be posted. It is yet another classic family portrait supplied by the lovely people at awkardfamilyphotos.com. Brought to my attention by my tall lady friend.
I can see this hanging above their fireplace next to the wedding and baby photos.
Film photos. Running around at night experiencing Erskineville, Newtown and other surrounding areas.
It was dark and rather cold. The experience was not life altering or particularly eventful. I still have a marvelous time and have my wish for time alone come true.
Yesterday was Ma.kets at Ma.Gallery off Broadway. Purchased one shirt, one shiny top and one bright red 80's prom dress. The last was an impulse buy, a purchase which was more than a little influenced by my good friend al.cohol. Ridiculous buy followed by more inhibition diminishing beverages and a trip. A trip over myself.
Today is Sushi, D.H Lawrence, Ticketek and the greatest sentence.
"Since high school I've grown, not just in height but in acceptance of my height." This was not me. I am not tall. The person who said this is, very, almost to the extent I don't think she should accept it.
